In 2020, 25 companies participated in the first training course on Sustainability Management and Leadership in the Azores.

This transformative action, recognizing the importance of the private sector in meeting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030), culminated in the collective will to form the Azores Business Sustainability Association (AESA).
