A.E.S.A participated in the opening session of PDL Green Tech, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Ponta Delgada dedicated to strategic reflection on Sustainability, Digital Transition, and Economic Development, which aims to strengthen the Azores’ position as a territory of experimentation and leadership in green and digital innovation.
This event, held between March 3 and 6, 2026, is a qualified space for debate and coordination between the public sector, the business community and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, promoting the development of collaborative solutions to current challenges.
During the opening session A.E.S.A’s President, Catarina Miranda, emphasized that the green transition and the digital transition represent not only one of the greatest challenges today, but also an opportunity for companies in the Azores to assert a more intelligent, fair, and prosperous development model.

A.E.S.A was also represented by its Executive Director, Rui Sousa, at the Strategic Panel “Azores 2030: Green and Digital Transition – Global Opportunities, Local Challenges,” where policies, talent, and economic development based on innovation were discussed.
This participation highlighted A.E.S.A’s commitment to supporting Azorean companies in integrating sustainability as a management model, actively collaborating towards a more innovative, resilient, and sustainable regional economy.
