The Business Association for Sustainability of the Azores (A.E.S.A), in partnership with NOVA SBE, promoted, from December 11th to 14th, a program focused on encouraging an ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) culture in Azorean companies.
On December 11th, in the Nonagon Auditorium, a freely accessible session was held entitled “The importance of ESG in organizations” with speaker Luís Veiga Martins, Director of Sustainability at Nova SBE.
From the 12th to the 14th of December, a group of 25 graduates from 16 companies on the island of São Miguel participated in the “ESG Academy” program, where various topics were covered, including Sustainable Finance, Sustainability Strategy, Purpose and Stakeholder Involvement , between others.
Soon A.E.S.A, in partnership with NOVA SBE, will promote a second edition of the “ESG Academy” program, to be held in the Azores.
