On June 6, 2023, A.E.S.A. took office on the Regional Council for Environment and Sustainable Development (CRADS) of the Azores.
A.E.S.A. upon being admitted to the regional register of environmental non-governmental organizations (ONGA), she became entitled to be an advisory member at CRADS.
CRADS is the consultative body of the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, with the authority to issue opinions and recommendations relating to environmental and sustainable development policies, which normally meets twice a year.
Upon taking office, the President of A.E.S.A. made an intervention to present the association, mentioning: “It is with great honor that A.E.S.A. takes office on this Regional Council for Environment and Sustainable Development, with a great desire to contribute to common challenges in social, economic and environmental matters, with a special focus on pursuing a regional strategy for sustainable development. It includes our participation!”
