In 2020, 25 Azorean companies participated in the first training course on Sustainability Management and Leadership in the Azores, promoted by the Regional Government of the Azores.
This transformative action culminated in the collective will to form a working group, which quickly became the Associação Empresarial para a Sustentabilidade dos Açores (AESA). (insert video of the end of the training action) AESA was formed on January 17, 2022, by twenty founding members. At the end of the first year of activity, AESA reached the number of 50 member companies.
AESA member companies are present in all the islands of the Azores. We want our vision and impact to reach the entire island territory, from Corvo to Santa Maria.
